Harvard Business Review and Gallup, among others, pin the number of strategic initiatives that fail at upwards of 70%. In a 2013 PMI report of in-depth interviews with senior executives, 61% admit that they struggle to bridge the gap between strategy formulation and successful implementation.
A plan is only as good as the people who see it through. Most teams starts out with a high degree of enthusiasm and expectations of achieving their goals. But early momentum can quickly erode when results take longer than expected, focus becomes blurred, team dynamics become challenging, and members feel that “no one cares.”
This session focuses on practical and imaginative ways to sustain the commitment needed to drive initiatives forward when your team hits a wall.
Your Speaker:
Sharon Tse is a Strategy and Performance Improvement Consultant at Wayne State University with over 25 years’ experience leading high-performing teams in sales, marketing, training, and organization development.
